Spodumene is a mineral from the pyroxene group. Contains lithium, due to which the bulk of the spodumene is mined to extract lithium. Crystals are in demand as a collection material. Beautifully colored varieties of spodumene are used in jewelry. Spodumene crystals up to one meter are found regularly. At the beginning of the 20th century, information appeared about the discovery of a crystal more than 12 meters (90 tons).

Types of spodumene:

    kunzite (pink, purple, magenta color),
    hiddenite (green and bluish-green color),
    triphan (transparent colorless, yellow, yellow-green)
